About this discount calculator
A discount calculator tells you the price you actually pay after a percentage reduction โ and how much money stays in your pocket. It is handy for checking sale tags, coupon codes and 'was/now' pricing, where the real saving is not always what the big percentage on the sign suggests.
How to use it
- Enter the original (full) price of the item.
- Enter the discount percentage, for example 25 for 25% off.
- See instantly what you pay and what you save.
The formula
You pay = Price - You save

Frequently asked questions
How do stacked discounts work?
Two discounts are applied one after the other, not added. 20% off followed by another 10% off means you pay 80% x 90% = 72% of the original price โ a total saving of 28%, not 30%. Use this calculator twice to check stacked offers.
Is a bigger percentage always a better deal?
Not necessarily. 50% off an inflated 'original' price can cost more than 20% off a fair price. Comparing the final price you pay is what matters.
Does this include sales tax?
No. Tax is usually calculated on the discounted price at checkout, and rates differ by place, so this tool shows the price after discount only.
What does 'up to 70% off' mean?
Only selected items get the maximum 70%; most items have a smaller discount. Check the tag on the specific item and verify it here.
